Dr. Tversky completed her undergraduate degree at Yale College in Connecticut, and then proceeded to obtain a Masters in Public Health at the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa. After several years doing research in the social sciences, Dr. Tversky returned to California to pursue her medical degree at Stanford University, and then completed her Psychiatry residency between UCSF and Stanford. Dr. Tversky has advanced training in attachment-based and trauma-informed psychotherapies, and has worked in a variety of hospitals and outpatient settings. Outside of Ravenswood, Dr. Tversky has her own psychotherapy practice, and also teaches psychotherapy to the psychiatry residents at Stanford Hospital. She is an active Board member for Peninsula Health Care Connection which oversees a clinic for people experiencing homelessness. Dr. Tversky loves helping people make sense of their minds and their experiences, and sharing the tools psychiatry has to offer, in the service of living a meaningful life.
