Catherine Raney

Dr. Catherine Raney is a Pediatrician at Ravenswood Family Health Network. Born and raised in Mill Valley, California, Catherine attended Claremont McKenna College in Los Angeles County, where she majored in History. She then moved to Brazil to work as an English Teaching Assistant at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil. After returning to the U.S., she worked as a substitute teacher and teaching assistant in the San Francisco Bay Area before completing a Post-Baccalaureate Premed Program at Goucher College in Maryland.
Catherine attended medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and completed her Pediatrics Residency at Stanford. She has a longstanding passion for pediatric primary care and immigrant health and believes providing medical care for children is a privilege. She is thrilled to work in a clinic focused on delivering excellent healthcare and community-based services to the local community.
In her free time, Catherine enjoys dancing Cuban salsa, playing ultimate Frisbee, and spending time with her family.
