Ryan Matlow

Dr. Matlow is a clinical psychologist who focuses on supporting and empowering children, youth, and families who experience stress, adversity, and trauma in their lives. Dr. Matlow seeks to address common reactions to stress and trauma in order to promote healing and resilience. Dr. Matlow has experience and expertise in delivering trauma-focused interventions for children, families, and special populations, including Spanish-speaking immigrant families. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver Department of Psychology in 2013, and completed pre- and post-doctoral fellowships at the UCSF Multicultural Clinical Training Program at San Francisco General Hospital. At Ravenswood, Dr. Matlow provides short-term counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and families that includes education, skill-building, empowerment, and goal-setting in accordance with personal values and priorities.
