Dr. Yau grew up locally and continued her education in the Bay Area. She is a proud UC Berkeley alumna and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from UC San Francisco. During dental school she was actively involved in teaching, leadership and community outreach. She served as a teaching assistant, as the Associated Dental Students treasurer, on the ADEA Outreach Committee, and participated in programs such as the ADEA outreach Children’s Health Hut and the UCSF Community Dental Clinic.
She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Redding, California, and has been a dedicated provider at RFHN for over a decade. Dr. Yau values building long-term relationships with patients and enjoys caring for individuals and families of all ages. In addition to clinical care, she is an attending dentist and mentor for AEGD residents, reflecting her commitment to education and high-quality patient center care.
