Zahra earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Hogeschool van Amsterdam in the Netherlands and completed an orthodontic internship at the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam. After moving to the Bay Area, she obtained her California dental hygiene license at Chabot College and later earned her master’s degree in dental hygiene from the University of California, San Francisco. She volunteered with Dentistry From the Heart and Samaritan House, joined Ravenswood Family Dentistry as a volunteer in 2011, and officially became part of the RFD dental team as a dental hygienist in 2014. Zahra also completed her RDHAP training at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. She is a valuable member of the Virtual Dental Home team.
