Originally from Los Angeles, California, Dr. Irwin earned her medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois and went on to complete Pediatric Residency training at the University of California, San Francisco. Before medical training, Dr. Irwin first nurtured her love for community health working at RFHN as a Community Impact Fellow, and she is overjoyed to have returned to RFHN as a physician. She is passionate about improving health for children in communities that have been traditionally underserved by addressing social determinants and family strengths. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running, cooking, gardening, and playing with her dog, Echo.
