Anita has a BS in Public Health and she completed her Masters of Science in PA studies at Stanford University with a research emphasis in Community Health. While at Stanford she was part of the first cohort of AHEC Scholars of South Bay, a community-oriented academic training specific to serving the Bay Area. Prior to completing her PA degree at Stanford, she worked on a mobile clinic in Southern India’s leprosy colonies, worked in women’s health, and conducted research with multiple universities in Utah and local health departments. She speaks both Spanish and English.
